El Dorado Hills, CA, November 21, 2024 — Blaize, a provider of purpose-built, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled edge computing solutions, announced it will sponsor Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services’ (SFBFS) 31st annual Run to Feed the Hungry.

The Thanksgiving Day event is part of Blaize’s commitment to supporting the Sacramento area community. Run to Feed the Hungry, a cherished annual tradition in the Sacramento area since 1994, is recognized as the country’s largest Thanksgiving Day fun run.

SFBFS serves more than 305,000 people monthly through a network of 125 partner agencies throughout the Sacramento region. With the support of sponsors and supporters, SFBFS distributes an average of 3.25 million pounds of food, or 2.7 million meals, every month.

“Blaize is committed to developing innovative AI edge solutions and to community service in the Sacramento Region,” said Leo Merle, Corporate Marketing Manager at Blaize. “Participating in Run to Feed the Hungry is a tremendous event that brings together the extended Sacramento community and represents a movement we can all get behind.”

Last year, more than 31,000 people participated in the event, generating $1.3 million to alleviate hunger throughout the Sacramento region.

“We’re very excited to welcome a new sponsor, Blaize, to the RTFTH family! While Blaize is on a mission to enable customers to unleash the full potential of AI for the benefit of us all, they also care about our mission of alleviating hunger in Sacramento County,” said Christina Cleveland, Director of Development at Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. “We’re so grateful to have their partnership this year.”
